Enterprise IT as a Service is a big category of IT spending and initiatives, from cloud computing to digitization. But a thread that runs through the various flavors of EITaaS is that agencies are taking a broader and deeper approach to the way they manage their IT infrastructure and services.
This opens an opportunity for systems integrators and other contractors to bring in new technologies and new ways of managing IT. It means more commercial technologies as well as best practices.
