Bakari Dale, director of business enterprise data analytics in the Army Office of Business Transformation, talked about the Army’s approach to transformation and why data is a critical driver of how the Army is modernizing its business. One of his responsibilities is the Army’s Deep Green Data Science Competition, where the Army challenges teams to use data to address complex problems. Dale shared lessons from these competitions and how they have broader application across the Army and how contractors can get involved.
